Primary Objective of the Position:

Charter Sales Associate is responsible for growing the companys charter sales revenue by providing quotes for requested trips and providing creative and effective solutions, which align customer needs with company resources. They will be required to maintain a high level of product knowledge of all company products and services, possess excellent negotiation, and prospecting skills. They must be ablet to demonstrate an overall high motivation for selling, and customer service. The Charter Sales Associate must be able to handle the complete sales cycle (initial opportunity, qualification, availability, quoting, payment, and confirmation process).

Essential Position Functions:

• Manage charter quotes and process sales leads for charter services.
• Respond to charter quote requests with accurate pricing in a timely and professional manner.
• Available to always respond to charter requests, including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive responses to customer request and demonstrating good commercial acumen.
• Enjoys working in a competitive environment and achieves established sales activity objectives to drive charter revenue.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of all company scheduled routes, services and understanding of the aircraft types and services.
• Prospect new clients and maintain relationships.
• Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, brokers, agents, and special accounts.
• Actively search charter boards to identify potential sales leads.
• Outsource flights when company aircraft are not available.
• Assist and support the Charter Sales Team and must have flexible approach to work.
• Follow up with clients as required on post activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area OR 4-year bachelors degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required
• 1+ year (s) employment history in a Logistics service sales role
• Desire to immerse self into role and commit to the demands of the role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Excel spreadsheets
• Demonstrated ability to sales representatives with any additional work as needed.
• Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new sales with customers, including add-on services.
• Be strongly skilled in organization, problem-solving, customer service, and multitasking while being committed to excellence.
• Must be able to assist in all sales and marketing campaigns as needed, particularly through presentations and site inspections
