Emirates has been serving France for over 30 years and currently operates 35 weekly flights, including three daily A380 flights from Paris, one daily A380 flight from Nice, and one daily flight from Lyon operated by the brand-new A350.
As a Customer Sales and Service Agent in our Paris office, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering a high standard of customer service at the counter by providing accurate information on fares, schedules, and products, issuing online tickets, and selling related services, while maintaining a courteous, professional attitude and an impeccable appearance in line with the organization’s standards
- Building strong customer relationships through active listening and rapport building, identifying customer needs, seeking sales opportunities, and promoting all Emirates products in line with quality standards.
- Advising customers on travel documentation and legal requirements, including passport validity, visa regulations, health requirements, check-in location and time.
- Strengthening customer’s loyalty through personalized service and promote our Skywards Program and its associated benefits.
- Actively contributing to Emirates revenue increase by providing options to customers on all ancillary products and services such as Skywards membership, seat selection, excess baggage, lounge Access, and identify opportunities for upselling or offering Premium services while respecting client’s needs.
- Maintaining an overall view of the store’s presentation to ensure alignment with the company standards and brand requirements.
- Supporting Travel Agents and Direct customers through back-office channels (emails and queues), handling general enquiries with accuracy, attention to detail, and within agreed timelines.
- Issuing tickets in compliance with airline rules, fare conditions, and regulatory requirements, ensuring customers’ requests are met efficiently and accurately.
- Actively being involved in suggesting new ideas and providing recommendations on the improvement of the service provided, thereby increasing revenue and ensuring Emirates’ success as a spanet leading airline.
- Keeping abreast of Emirates Group news and updates to ensure company standards are maintained. Including regular update on reservation and ticketing policies.
- Supporting the Customer Sales & Service Team Leader on closing the end of day sales
Qualification- Minimum of two years experience in the airline / tourism industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Reservations and Ticketing activities, including GDS knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer centric mindset with an exceptional flair for forging strong commercial relationships.
- Professional and well-groomed appearance required.
- Rigorous, proactive and autonomous.
- Strong ability to collaborate and to adapt.
- Excellent proficiency for both spoken and written French and English.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
