Aerometals is currently seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Director of Sales and Marketing. This position will have tremendous opportunities to develop innovative policies and campaigns that help to shape the future of our organization.

Aerometals has a record of outstanding financial performance and growth in its market. The company’s goal is to continue to increase its presence in both the domestic and international aviation/rotorcraft market. The scope of this position will include directing and managing all worldwide sales and marketing inclusive of sales force, agents, product management, customer service, marketing communications, and business development. The Director of Sales and Marketing will report directly to the CEO.

The Director of Sales and Marketing have the following responsibilities:
  • Drive the Strategic Planning for worldwide sales and marketing by defining the sales and marketing roles, responsibilities and work flow processes
  • Maintain awareness of competitors, their products and strategic advantages
  • Develop and maintain good professional relationships with main accounts and strategic partners of the company
  • Research and develop marketing opportunities, understanding consumer requirements, and identify market trends
  • Analyze and identify appropriate partners for product in geographic markets
  • Assist global agents with technical backup, project implementation for all marketing strategies
  • Administer sales pipeline
  • Increase productivity of sales force by implementing metrics and accountability for performance
  • Establish a clear and uniform methodology for forecasting sales and reporting results by market region and product line
  • Attend industry conferences and forums to represent the company
  • Make recommendations to Executive leadership on approaches to increase revenue
  • Develop and implement excellent customer service standards and policies
  • Serve as a key participant with senior management in developing overall business strategies
  • Instill an Innovative Culture characterized by people acting strategically, proactively and with a sense of urgency
  • Set the precedence for excellence through leading by example
Job Requirements:
 
Qualification Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, Engineering is preferred

Experience: 10 years increasingly responsible sales and marketing experience to include:
  • Senior Executive leading a worldwide sales and marketing team in a technical products environment
  • Aviation industry background, ideally rotorcraft
  • Understanding of custom engineered products
Skills:
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Familiar with international regulations
  • Strong customer advocate
  • Driven and committed to success while maintaining integrity
About Us:
Aerometals Inc. of El Dorado Hills, California is a 40-year veteran of commercial and military aerospace manufacturing. We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning, sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, autoclave, and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application, militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Customers include the US Military, Boeing, Lockheed, Sikorsky, etc.
