Job Purpose

Emirates Online Sales is responsible for applications on Emirates Web & Mobile platforms to support revenue objectives in line with the Emirates Commercial strategy. Our group works across different teams to develop web and mobile channels, products and services to drive ease-of-use, focusing on next generation user interfaces. The E-Commerce and Mobile Manager (Sales) will drive the strategic development of Emirates online sales approach to enhance cost efficiency and accelerate direct channel growth across Online platforms / Online Products and Services including Emirates.com and the mobile app in line with the commercial strategy. Evaluate product research, system development, usability, compliance, business impact, and user requirements for digital services. Ensure effective coordination between Online Sales and internal stakeholders to maximise use of digital products and ancillaries. Support achievement of online targets and overall business objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Providing strategic oversight and operational support to regional eCommerce managers, ensuring seamless execution across multiple points of sale within the designated regions.
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring and analysis of customer behaviour to refine business strategies and achieve targeted online sales performance.
  • Drive the strategic enhancement of Emirates.com sales capabilities to maximise incremental revenue growth while ensuring an optimal customer experience.
  • Collaborate with key Commercial departments to gather insights on e-commerce development needs, objectives, functionalities, and data requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Provide analytical expertise to assess and capitalize on business opportunities, leveraging commercial analytics and behavioural data to enhance conversion rates for airline sales and ancillary services.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to identify strategic enhancements for the booking engine, ensuring spanet alignment. Regularly benchspan pricing between Emirates.com and key competitors to inform necessary fare adjustments.
  • Develop and oversee robust management reporting on internet sales, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights to drive continuous business optimisation.
Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or Honours with 8+ years of experience in Commerical/Sales. Other
  • Experience in Commercial in Sales, Research/Analysis
  • Experience in online sales and distribution is essential.
  • Experience in using analytical tools is highly advantageous

Knowledge/ Skills:

  • Solid understanding of online sales, product development, with knowledge of the airline industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Behavioural Economics with a data driven mindset to enhance ancillary product performance.
  • Proven ability to identify product/project KPIs and analyse results to evaluate business success.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills with an interdisciplinary approach.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly within a fast evolving environment.
