The Opportunity

The Capture and Sales Team Support Co-ordinator contributes to the bidding and response process for Insitu Pacific opportunities, campaigns and programs.

Accountabilities include:

  • Working with Capture Leads to develop the proposal schedule and completion status.
  • Developing RACI plans for response planning.
  • Supporting capture plan development.
  • Using appropriate templates, databases, websites, guidelines, directives and applicable solicitations.
  • Aligning win themes and ghosting strategies to campaign priorities and system strengths.
  • Supporting gate artefacts development (gates 1-3).
  • Shortening proposal development timelines.
  • Supporting fact finding and competition analysis activities.
  • Supporting program manager with risk analysis and mitigation planning.
  • Ensuring proposal compliance against response requirements.
  • Supporting the development of Proposals (Boilerplate material/system configs/performance/archived data not customer specific data for inclusion).
  • Supporting proposal reviews.
  • Ensuring timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage and disposition of Business Development information via formal and informal structures and processes
  • Assisting in the general campaign tracking for the organisation (Gant Chart - single image tracking).

Experience, Qualifications and Competencies

We are looking for the successful applicant to meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience with Business Capture governance processes.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strategic Thinker.
  • Organisation and Coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong persuasive writing skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) / word processing.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Creativity.
  • Teamwork and willing to collaborate.
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence Security requirements.

Desirable:

  • A qualification in a business discipline such as program management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with generative AI/LLMs, crafting effective queries and using the outputs to increase document creation accuracy and overall efficiency.
