The Sales Support Agent provides support to the General Manager, Sales Italy & Greece and Commercial Managers in all other Sales and Commercial activities.
Responsibilities:Support to our Key Account Agents (help desk) Responsible for our Groups Reservations & all Ticketing activitiesResponsible for our direct Customers Reservations and enquiriesSupport Check-in and Airport ticket offices during hours of operationsClosing, Authorizing, and auditing of local ticket office activitiesMonitoring Sales via BSP-Link and assign ticketing authoritySupport Passengers’ Refunds and Customer Relations activities, handle sales reports & other related administrative duties as need beUpdates and monitoring of the web content (local homepage), web support dutiesReview & distribution of B to C Newsletters, and B to B Flash info to travel agentsCoordination of sales eventsConduct Price Benchspaning / inventory analysis for the spanetPreparation & updates of product presentations for the sales teamPreparation of figures and data to support review meetings and sales strategic decisionsSupport other spanets in the Country Manager’s portfolio if required.
Actual duties and responsibilities may include any or all of the functional duties & responsibilities listed above plus any other related tasks as assigned by the employee’s superior.QualificationsTourism diploma/degree or relevant experienceSales support & reservations/ticketing experience (3 years) preferably with airline or tourism industryStrong knowledge of GDS combined with previous experienceGood knowledge of Windows and MS OfficeOn the job training for all Air Canada related used software systems
