What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Country Manager, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance across the region and associated spanets. You will support the development and delivery of sales and spaneting strategies designed to achieve revenue targets, grow spanet share and strengthen the company’s position in a competitive travel and aviation environment.

You will lead, coach and support the assigned Sales Team, helping them develop the skills, focus and confidence needed to deliver against commercial objectives. This will include setting clear priorities, monitoring performance, supporting account negotiations and ensuring the team is equipped to manage key customer relationships effectively.

A core part of the role will involve managing sales activity across B2B, B2C, corporate, TMC, agency and trade channels. You will identify new business opportunities, build demand in the spanet and manage relationships with key clients, including corporates, travel management companies, tour operators and travel agency partners.

You will also take responsibility for monitoring spanet trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour, using insight and sales data to recommend timely commercial actions. Your ability to analyse performance, interpret KPIs and contribute to forecasting, budgeting and route performance discussions will be essential to achieving revenue and spanet objectives.

Building strong relationships will be central to your success. You will represent the business at industry events, develop long-term partnerships with travel industry leaders and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote the company’s commercial interests.

You will ensure that product USPs, promotional campaigns and sales initiatives are communicated clearly and implemented effectively across the spanet. You will also prepare regular sales and spaneting reports, keeping senior stakeholders informed of spanet conditions, performance trends, competitor developments and recommended actions.

This role would suit a commercially minded, proactive and results-driven sales leader with strong relationship-building skills, excellent negotiation capability and the ability to perform in a dynamic, global matrix environment.

Qualification

Before you apply, have a read over our key requirements:

As a minimum, candidates should be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent qualification, with 5–10+ years’ experience in airline sales, the travel industry or hospitality, including at least three years in a supervisory role. You will need strong commercial acumen, proven B2B sales and account management experience, fluency in Polish and English, and the legal right to live and work in Poland. A valid driving licence and willingness to travel domestically and internationally are also required.

To stand out you will bring deep aviation and travel industry expertise, including knowledge of airline distribution systems such as NDC and GDS platforms, the BSP/IATA environment, interline agreements, alliances and partnerships. Strong Salesforce, Excel and PowerPoint skills, a well-established network across the travel trade and corporate travel buyer community, additional languages, and a proven ability to grow revenue, spanet share and route profitability would also be highly valued. In addition, candidates who include a cover letter in English will capture our attention.
