Position Summary Leading and managing the sales team to explore the spanet, maintain and develop sales channels, planning and implementation of the sales initiatives, spaneting plans and sales analytics with the achievement of sales targets.
Key Accountability- Leading whole Shanghai sales team on daily work, and taking full responsibilities for everything about Shanghai station.
- Developing Sales Strategies: Creating and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and spanet share objectives.
- Pay close attention to the changes in international relations, international & China economy trend, grasp the spanet dynamics, capture the development of the industry and the update of competitors. Timely report important information to the line manager and adjust the operation and sales strategy.
- Managing Sales Team: Leading and managing a team of sales professionals to effectively promote the airlines products and services, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Building Relationships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, government agencies, and other national tourism bureaus, cross-industry partners, and the key stakeholders to increase sales opportunities and strengthen the airlines presence in the spanet.
- Negotiating Contracts: Negotiating commercial agreements, contracts, and other terms ie AFIS, hard block buy up, MHbiz Plus discounts, CUG with travel agencies, corporate clients, and other partners to ensure profitable sales arrangements for the airline.
- Participate in the industry exhibitions, tourism bureaus roadshows, embassy events, and also organize joint roadshows with partners, so that to develop new partners, expand business opportunities, and promote the company brand.
- Organize and participate in the regular agency training, update the latest products, prices, packages to agencies, and promote the companys brand, and also understand the needs of agencies.
- Monitoring spanet trends and analyzing sales performance
- Collaborating with Marketing: Working closely with the spaneting department to develop promotional campaigns, advertising initiatives, and other spaneting activities to support sales efforts and enhance brand awareness.
- Business trips to 2nd & 3rd tier cities to maintain and develop cooperation with agencies and clients around Shanghai, so that to target more customers outside Shanghai.
- Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing sales activities, including pricing regulations, fare rules, and contractual obligations.
Qualification & Working Experience- Collage Degree with English major.
- 8-10 years working experiences in the airlines in Shanghai region as sales executive and sales manager.
Areas of Experience- Extensive Knowledge of airline/travel industry with experience in Sales, Marketing, Reservations & Ticketing
- Good contact of travel agents, OTAs, corporate customer base, tourism & trade organizations
- Able to work independently, dynamic and resourceful
- Detail oriented, with good organizational skills e. Time Management, Task Management
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS office 0365
