The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in strengthening sales operations, supporting customer engagement, and contributing to spaneting and sales development activities across multiple international spanets.

Responsibilities:

    Serve as the first point of contact for help desk support to Key Account Agents in Western Switzerland, Morocco, Algeria, and Egypt.Provide advanced assistance to travel agencies, Travel Management Companies (TMCs), and Tour Operators (TOs).Support group reservations and ticketing processes, including handling complex or exceptional cases.Prepare and deliver sales presentations on products, services, and the company network; actively participate in sales visits, blitzes, roadshows, trade fairs, and industry events.Develop, update, and maintain high quality sales and product presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders. quality sales and product presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate, review, and distribute B2C newsletters and B2B sales communications.Conduct spanet research, benchspaning, and competitive analysis to support commercial and strategic planning.Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and generate detailed sales reports and statistics.Compile and interpret commercial data to support management reviews and strategic decision making. makingAssist with the coordination of sales events, promotional campaigns, and customer facing initiatives. facing initiatives.Support spaneting and advertising activities across digital, print, radio, and online channels, including website content updates, visibility optimization, and promotional materials.Manage and follow up on all Swiss and North Africa invoices in accordance with Air Canada’s billing and payment procedures.Provide guidance and day-to-day support to other sales support team members as required. to day support to other sales support team members as required.
Qualifications

    Diploma or degree in Tourism, Business, or a related field.Minimum five years of experience in sales support, sales coordination, or reservations/ticketing, ideally within the airline or tourism sectorStrong working knowledge of Amadeus and Galileo GDS systems.High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
Conditions of Employment:

Linguistic Requirements

Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken; German is considered an asset.
