Job Description:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive corporate business growth in the South African market. Achieve agreed sales revenue target by developing and maintaining an effective professional relationship with corporate houses, travel trade partners and various stakeholders in these segments. 


 


·         Maintain and develop relationships with major corporate, travel agents and associations to develop and maximize all revenue opportunities which includes existing revenue and new revenue potential.


·         Device and execute sales strategies to drive corporate sales growth for Emirates. Work closely with the Corporate Sales Manager and other commercial team members to ensure that business opportunities are optimised.  


·         Maintain a minimum average weekly call rate to existing and new customer base based on revenue portfolio and business needs as agreed with the Corporate Sales Manager. Update the weekly sales plan in salesforce.com and report outcomes/actions of the sales calls in the system.


·         Develop and implement the agreed marketing and sales plans with all Key Accounts within the segment.


·         Closely monitor revenue results and account potential and recommend and implement actions as necessary to maximize revenue.


·         Negotiate and put forward incentive and discount agreements for selected accounts; implement the contract and assess effectiveness.


·         Generate sales leads by using the various business intelligence tools, qualify them and try to convert them into accounts.


·         Act as an Emirates ambassador within in the assigned sales territory and represent Emirates during functions.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:


12 Years schooling or equivalent


Experience:


Commercial/Sales. Other


5+ Years


Knowledge/Skills:


Experience in all aspects of the airline/travel trade sales environment  


Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively at all levels.


Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and Power Point


Fluent spoken and written English.


Excellent interpersonal skills and a pleasant, outgoing personality.
