Drone Operator/Pilot

• The client provides an on-demand drone delivery service in several countries. In-order-to provide this service, client operates a 14 CFR Part 135 Air Carrier which is staffed with direct employees and vendor service providers.

Responsibilities:

• Directly support the client Regional Site Lead by performing the following functions.
• Work with Regional Site Lead, Chief Pilot, and Director of Operations to determine required staffing levels for daily and weekly Ground Crew schedules.
• Provide daily and weekly staffing requirements approved by Regional Site Lead, Chief Pilot, and Director of Operations to vendor team leads.
• Support hand-off of new site from launch team to line operations.
• Respond on short notice to emergent aircraft, nest facility, or equipment issues which may prevent operations.
• Support aircraft, nest facility, and nest equipment readiness for operations prior to launch and on a routine basis.
• Respond to emergent operational conflicts including obstacle verification and supporting aircraft recovery.
• Develop ground crew schedule plans for Regional Site lead approval.

Experience (Mandatory):

• Possess a current driver's license.
• Possess a valid 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (Does not need to be current but must not have been suspended or revoked).
• Successfully complete required company provided training for Ground Support and Visual Observer roles for company's Part 135 Operations
• Participate in periodic company provided training to maintain relevant skills and knowledge.
• Participate in Vendor's FAA drug and alcohol screening program.

Experience (Desired):

• Project Management experience.

Skills:

• 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
• Drone Operator
• Ground Support

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
