Job Description:

Essential job duties include the following: (1) Develop and teach undergraduate courses in unmanned aerial systems and related areas; (2) collaborate with other academic units at Purdue, and engage with government and industry; (3) serve on curriculum committees; (4) perform customary faculty assignments and student mentoring; and (5) demonstrate a commitment to impactful and transformational education. The candidate must have a record of teaching, training or instructional design, and mentoring. The candidate must possess knowledge and experience in the areas of advanced air mobility, autonomous technology, infrastructure, and applications. The candidate must demonstrate experience in manufacturing, maintaining, and operating commercial UAS mission planning, sensor integration, and regulatory approvals.

Job Requirements:

M.S. or M.A. in aviation, or related field, must be obtained by August 19, 2024.

Salary Range: 85,000-100,000
