Description:UAV Pilot Vehicle Interface Staff/HSA - (Level 4)
The Pilot Vehicle Interface Staff/HSA is primarily responsible for the development of remotely piloted aircraft Pilot-Vehicle Interface (PVI) as a subject matter expert defining and clarifying customer requirements throughout the Systems Engineering Product Life Cycle. Will work closely with Advanced Development Program (ADP - Skunk Works) Engineers. Engages in frequent interaction with the customer (USAF RCO, ACC, STRATCOM and others) to clarify operational requirements and customer intent with respect to UAV modernization, weapon integration, and sustainment efforts. Presents PVI and crew station design concepts (in the form of figures, drawings, or simulations) to the customer for evaluation. Conveys customer intent and operational impact to system architects and designers to inform system level design. Collaborates with software developers, the customer, and program management to design pilot-vehicle interface, obtain design decisions, and reconcile customer intent against feasibility, cost, and complexity of various design modifications. Provides technical and operational advice and design direction for cockpit controls and mechanizations for new systems/capabilities. Promotes consistent user interface and ensures alignment with customer intent. Provides operational subject matter expertise to support technical baseline management, technical reviews, system demonstrations, and Human Systems Integration. Supports defect resolution to aid in identification, investigation, prioritization, and documentation of corrective actions. Documents cockpit design descriptions, drafts pilot flight manuals and reviews them for accuracy, and develops and briefs pilot academics on controls and Pilot Vehicle Interface designs.
Targeting mid-career professionals with experience in UAV operations.
Position is in an area that requires special access. Selected candidate must possess a secret clearance and be able to obtain a top secret.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
• Pilot experience with a minimum of 1,000 hours piloting "large" Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RQ-170, RQ-4, MQ-9, others)
• Experience as a lead and/or proven subject matter expert.
• Must have operational deployment experience
• Deployed within the last 5 years
• Leadership/SME experience preferred
• Instructor Pilot
• Mix of ISR and strike experience
• Familiarity with LO platforms and planning
• Recent operational flight experience preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in aviation and technology such as a technical degree, technology development/test/safety experience etc.
