Required Skills/Abilities:
- Working knowledge of DJI platforms; M210, Mavic 2 Pro, Inspire 2, M600, Harris H6 experience a plus
- Working knowledge with various UAV cameras and sensors
- Knowledge of all applicable regulations and policies governing UAV
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose minor UAV systems
- Demonstrated ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and Safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to process data and software specific to UAV (Pix4D, Civil 3D experience a plus)
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations, to include part 107 regulations
- Attention to detail, good judgment with the ability to react quickly to hazards
- Working knowledge of proper safety procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive company and customer information
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to professionally interact with clients, the public, contractors, and other employees
- Effective oral/written communication skills
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 20 hours or more of commercial UAV flight experience
- Current FAA Part 107 Certificate
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background and drug screen
- Subject to random drug screening program
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing in outdoor environments
- Ability to walk over various terrain to complete missions
- Ability to work long periods including evenings and some weekends if required
- Able to visually track a UAV unassisted (corrective lenses acceptable)
- Being outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Able to use hands and fingers to operate flight controls
- Ability to maintain focus and situational awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
