include finding potential candidates, screening them, and recommending them for placement. The process of recruiting may involve both internal and external
sourcing methods, thereby requiring you to be adept at understanding where and how to locate aerospace and aviation candidates.
You must be creative and confidential as it involves using both traditional and non-traditional resources and a network of established contacts to identify and
attract talent. Resources often include job boards, industry specific boards, community networking events, job fairs, online sources, career fairs, and social media and advertising/marketing campaigns.
The recruiting, interviewing, and screening responsibilities can be further broken down by daily job duties, which include:
Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and maintain pipeline of qualified candidates.
Posting open requisitions in the ATS and cross posting to job boards.
Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates and documenting interviews
Administering appropriate company assessments
Performing reference checks
Managing applicant tracking system and other technology systems
Making recommendations to company hiring managers
Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
Following up on interviews/status
Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
Compliance with all state and federal regulations
Completing timely reports on activities specified
Three plus years of Aerospace/Aviation staffing/recruitment experience, strong understanding and ability to recruit at all levels of the organization.
Experience with per-diem pay required.
Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team-based project experience.
Must have experience on mapping and sourcing resumes from all sources.
Strong vendor management skills related to recruitment activities such as search firms and job boards.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office365 and in-depth knowledge of data mining, internet research and social media platforms.
MUST HAVE AEROSPACE/AVIATION STAFFING EXPERIENCE.
