Job Description

We are seeking skilled Avionic Technicians to join our team, primarily working on AW139 helicopters. This role involves performing avionics installations and wire harness fabrication, making it essential for candidates to have significant experience in these areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform avionics installations and wire harness fabrication on AW139 helicopters.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and install avionics systems.
• Repair transponders, navcomms, radars, DMEs, and other related equipment.
• Work with a mix of equipment from corporate, commercial, helicopter, or military backgrounds, including FAA-regulated systems.
• Utilize personal basic tools for daily tasks.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in avionics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of avionics systems.
• Experience with helicopters is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Experience with Garmin, Honeywell, or Cobham avionics is advantageous.

• Experience repairing transponders, navcomms, radars, DME, and similar equipment.
• Familiarity with AgustaWestland, Bell, Sikorsky, Airbus, Boeing, and similar aircraft.
• Holding an A&P license or FCC license is beneficial.

Work Environment

The role is based in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility and Completion Center specializing in maintenance, repair, overhaul, completion, and installation support. The facility is located next to AWIs main production plant in Bensalem, PA, providing a collaborative and professional work atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
