We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-driven Avionics and Electronics Technician to join a world-renowned aviation leader on our Weekend Shift team – Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM in Hartford, CT. This is your opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated aircraft in the skies today, contributing directly to the safety, performance, and innovation of elite business jets and mission platforms.
Make an Impact from Day OneAs a Technician in Avionics and Electronics, you’ll be on the front line ensuring aircraft are equipped, maintained, and serviced to the highest standards. From troubleshooting intricate avionics systems to ensuring regulatory compliance, your work will be vital in keeping operations running smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
What You’ll Be DoingDiagnose and repair avionics, electrical, and electronic systems on aircraft
Read and interpret electrical engineering drawings to guide your work
Document maintenance in compliance with manuals and FAA regulations
Operate ground support equipment safely and effectively
Assist with mechanical and electrical installations and removals
Support off-site maintenance operations when needed
Collaborate across disciplines and bring your insights to the table
What You Bring to the Flight DeckRequired:
Graduate of Avionics/Electric Aircraft Technical School or equivalent experience
Typically 3+ years of hands-on avionics experience
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
Proficient in written and verbal communication
Basic personal hand tools and understanding of tool control procedures
Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and in varying weather conditions
Eligibility for SIDA badge and Ground Support Equipment certification
Preferred:
FAA A, P, or A&P Certification
GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET Certification
Experience on corporate jet or commercial aircraft
Basic PC proficiency

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
