We are seeking a Microelectronics Assembler for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with the potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and an interest in working with electronics, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this role, you will play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instructions and drawings.
• Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
• Read and interpret assembly process/work instructions and work instruction processes.
• Work with microscopic to large components that may require visual magnification.
• Use various hand tools (such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters) and pneumatic tools (such as torque drivers, and screwdrivers).
• Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
• Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

• Assembly, Soldering, Production, Electronic assembly, Hand tool, Blueprint, Solder, Mechanical, Mechanical assembly, Schematic.
• Interim Secret clearance required to start.
• Basic computer skills, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610.

• Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
• Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
• Strong work ethic and a reputation for punctuality and reliability.
• Desire to grow and learn in the role.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

Work full-time on a day shift from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility for overtime. Engage in a fast-paced, hands-on work environment where precision and attention to detail are essential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
