Flight Controller

Position Overview: Axio, a leading provider in air cargo and private charter services, is seeking a detail-oriented and operationally savvy Flight Controller to join our dynamic operations team. The Flight Controller will play a pivotal role in monitoring and coordinating our fleet's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and optimal customer service. This position is designed for the afternoon/evening shift, catering to our unique operational needs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Flight Monitoring: Track real-time flight positions, ensuring flights adhere to their scheduled routes, times, and altitudes. Communicate any deviations or concerns promptly to relevant parties.
• Ground Support Coordination: Arrange and confirm on-ground support for aircraft, including fueling, maintenance, baggage handling, and catering, to ensure seamless turnaround.
• Operational Communication: Serve as a key point of contact between pilots, ground crew, and customer service teams, facilitating efficient communication and problem resolution.
• Logistics Management: Oversee and coordinate gate assignments, aircraft parking, and ground movement to optimize operational flow.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all flight and ground operations comply with regulatory standards and company safety policies. Participate in safety audits and reviews as required.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of flight operations, incidents, and coordination efforts. Prepare and distribute operational reports to management and relevant departments. 

• Proven experience in aviation operations, flight control, or a related field. Previous experience as a Flight Controller or Dispatcher is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of aviation terminology, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
• Flexibility to work afternoon/evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer proficiency and the ability to quickly adapt to operational software and systems. 

Education: 

• High school diploma required; further education or certifications in aviation management, operations, or a related field preferred.
