What Will You Be Doing?

The Designer collaborates with the creative and marketing teams to provide engaging and on-brand visual assets and creative strategy for various internal and external initiatives and campaigns. This role is expected to concept, develop and execute creative assets across a variety of digital environments for Frontier. The Digital Designer will aim to elevate the brands creative footprint and visual communication strategies through design and when necessary, copywriting.

Essential Functions

  • Command strong design abilities/principles and proficiency in software applications.
  • Collaborate with designers and team leaders to develop collateral and find creative solutions from conception to execution on various campaigns and marketing/sales strategies.
  • Work within brand guidelines as well as develop new creative ideas and strategies to contribute to the overall visual aesthetic and growth of the company.
  • Elevate designs that keep Frontier on the forefront of modern design and branding in both print and digital media environments.
  • Create engaging static and multimedia designs in digital environments including but not limited to email, paid media, social media and web graphics and designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital design trends and constantly advocate for trying new creative strategies and tactics to enhance Frontiers brand presence on all channels.
  • Meet the production art requirements of the company as assignments come into the department in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
  • Perform quality assurance to ensure creative is consistent, accurate and up to brand standards.
  • Work in conjunction with Design Manager and other team leaders to develop and grow Frontiers creative library and digital footprint across all channels.
  • Create powerful motion graphics and other multimedia assets for all channels.
  • Understand Frontiers brand voice and be able to translate the idea of the project at hand into concise and engaging marketing copy for use across customer-facing assets.
  • Exercise judgment, visual creativity and innovation while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and validity of the content presented
  • Participate in design reviews to maintain consistency across multiple applications and guarantee adherence to requirements and standard.

Other Functions

  • Be willing and available to travel and assist with in-person events and engagements.
  • Assist with print production projects as needs arise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of Graphic design experience required
  • 1-2 years of copywriting experience preferred
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, etc)
  • Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite video programs (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Superior time management, process management and communication skills.
  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Comfortable receiving feedback and quickly change course based on business needs
  • Eye for good visual design
  • Must have technical knowledge and experience producing multimedia projects including use of video equipment
  • Team player who can work collaboratively with other departments, partners and marketers
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be self-motivated, self-starter, have a sense of urgency and extremely well-organized
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision in a collaborative team environment
  • Microsoft office product skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Must exercise sound business judgment and handle confidential information with sensitivity
