We have an exciting new vacancy for a Software Development Engineer in test (SDET) to join our tech team here at easyJet Holidays! This is a permanent vacancy in Luton. (Hybrid Working)
The role will sit within our Technology team working with Quality Engineers and SDETs to ensure we deliver changes to the web and internal systems. You’ll work closely with the QE Leadership Team to help shape and implement the modernised Test strategy for Holidays including introducing Quality Engineering Principles.
You will also play a key role in driving change and continuous improvement in automated testing approaches, practices, and techniques to help design and deliver the overall agile testing methodology used by the teams.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with the QE Leadership Team to help shape and implement the modernised Test strategy for easyJet Holidays
- Lead working groups to discuss issues and implement solutions.
- Inspire, mentor and coach to bring out the very best in the whole team to improve quality
- Be comfortable having technical conversations with the wider technology teams.
- To work with our community of Automation Testers to support them on best practices.
- Stay up to speed on tools, process, practice, and technology developments to ensure they are brought in-house and enhance the solutions applied to the testing problems
