Job Description:

Coastal Helicopters, LLC is seeking Talented Candidates with AS350B2/B3e and Bell 205A1++ Aircraft Maintenance Experience.

The Selected Candidate would be able to perform daily routine maintenance and inspections, accurately troubleshoot and correct mechanical or electrical malfunctions, perform structural and sheet metal repairs, perform electrical repairs, have in depth knowledge of AS350B2/AS350B3e and Bell 205A1++ and all of its systems, place a high degree of attention to organization and cleanliness, be familiar with and understand the Airbus/Bell Maintenance Manuals/14 CFR 43 / AC 43.13, own the correct set of basic tools, capable of working as part of a team and/or individually, possesses the upmost commitment to safety and mission (in that order) and performs comfortably in a high pace environment where there is no room for mistakes.

As a Mechanic, you will perform all the above both in the field or hangar environments. Candidates must be capable and willing to perform other mission related tasks, including but not limited to: Operating Company Vehicles, Towing Maintenance Support Trailers and Inspecting/Maintaining Rigging or Firefighting Equipment.

Job Requirements:
  • Must have FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
  • Minimum of Two (2) years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic
  • Must be very knowledgeable on the AS350B2/B3e and or Bell 205A1++
  • Must have ability to research, read, and interpret drawings, technical manuals, and FAA Directives
  • Must have the ability to Speak, Read & Write English with clarity and technical accuracy
  • Must be able to work with little to no guidance with the utmost integrity
  • Must be willing to travel (40%) Must have flexible work schedule to comply with customer needs
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

The ideal Mechanic would:

  • Possess a class A CDL with hazmat
  • Have a current USFS/DOI interagency card
  • Lives in the Los Angeles area
  • Possess Quality Control experience
