Job Purpose
This position will repair, refurbish, and/or rebuild parts and equipment on Cargo Loading Systems across multiple types of aircraft. The Maintenance Technician will interact with and support other technicians in the performance of these duties.
Essential Job Functions:
- Working knowledge on the different hand tools utilized, and a basic knowledge on aircraft specific tools for different work order needs.
- Ability to understand Cobalt’s Repair Station Quality Manual and Internal Processes.
- Effectively communicate statuses and results of maintenance and work orders.
- Able to document all work performed accurately with moderate to little direction.
- Perform associated sealing, topcoat/ primer touch ups, shimming, and greasing procedures with moderate to minimal direction.
- Accurately establish a Teardown/Bill of Materials list of all required repairs/ replacement parts.
- Able to maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all OSHA policies and company PPE procedures.
- Able to effectively track hours for work orders and report to technician lead.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Current and valid A&P License required
- Basic knowledge on how to read and interpret OEM/ engineering drawings, technical orders, and OEM repair data
- Complete set of hand tools for general maintenance work
- Basic Quantum knowledge
- Mechanical and Mathematical Aptitude

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
