-Minimum of 3 years of experience inspecting or working with aircraft electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, or related electrical installations.
-Minimum of 5 years of Aerospace Quality Inspection experience.
PL1 Access:
This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Executive Fleet Quality Inspector will be a part of the Client team specializing in Executive Fleet aircraft located in San Antonio, Texas. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
- Performs inspections of electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, and related aircraft electrical installations to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
- This inspector implements quality assurance and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.
- Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services, or operations for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing ongoing reviews of work for compliance with requirements.
- Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner.
- Specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished.
- Communicates deficiencies to proper persons.
- Maintains Quality Assurance files.
- Documents results of all inspections.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
