We are actively seeking an Airframe and Powerplant technician who is capable of maintaining both small airplanes and helicopters. We have a fleet of five aircraft. This job is a full time position with a flexible schedule and an ideal candidate would be able to travel between both of our locations.
Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshooting, inspecting, testing, repairing, and servicing aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight.
- Performing Quality functions such as Customer/FAA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights), Corrective Action and Investigations.
- Initiating and documenting any nonconforming material, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
- Using precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear, and repair or replace as required.
- Performing Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector tasks to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications.
- Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity.
- Assist with training and teaching of maintenance systems to pilots.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
