Job Title: Fuel Cell SealerJob Description
Join our onsite vendor team at an aircraft manufacturing facility, where you will perform essential functions related to Integral Fuel Cell Sealing. Your role will involve applying sealing compounds to seal fuel cells and related wing section components, as well as sealing major assemblies and large structures.
Responsibilities
- Seal, fillet and fay, cap seal, brush coat, and more for major assemblies, sub-assemblies, precision bench, and integral fuel cells.
- Apply scotch cast, leveling compound, aerodynamic seal, and conduct pressure tests.
- Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, and work orders to meet quality sealing requirements.
- Complete required data gathering transactions to facilitate all sealer progression.
- Perform any necessary pickup, rework, fabrication, change incorporation, functional testing, or checks during or after final seal and/or seal progression.
- Use measuring instruments as required to accomplish work assignments.
Essential Skills
- Experience in Integral Fuel Cell Sealing and the application of sealing compounds.
- Proficiency in sealing large structures and assemblies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work with blueprints and specifications.
- Knowledge of sealants and related procedures.

Work Environment
Work in a factory setting, with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, up to 7 days a week. Shift hours are from 5am - 5pm or 2:30pm - 2:30am. Training takes place in Wichita, KS, with travel and accommodations provided. The workload may vary, with some periods of waiting for aircraft access. No tools are required for this role.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $51.00/hr.
