Primary Job Functions:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible to the Material Control Manager for the receiving operation of BGFC’s Parts Department. Job duties include planning and coordination with North Star’s Parts Manager of the purchase of materials, products, and services in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy. Weigh, measure, and check materials, supplies, and equipment for the purpose of keeping relevant records.
Tasks
- Maintain stock levels of repair materials, parts, and products.
- Process receiving transactions, update logs, and maintain accurate records and labels for all incoming materials.
- Identify and quarantine any non-conforming or unapproved parts in accordance with the RSM/QCM.
- Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems.
- Collect or prepare measurement, weight, or identification labels and attach them to products.
- Uphold regulations, company policies, and the repair station's RSM/QCM.
- Enforce safety and security protocols for handling materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Be familiar with Repair Station Manuals, RSM/QCM, Repair Station Forms Manual, Repair Station Training Program, and Repair Station Capability List.
- EBIS experience is a plus.
