Description
As the Maintenance Planning and Improvement Specialist, you’ll play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimising the Maintenance Plan for the C-27J fleet. You’ll support maintenance and operations teams by driving scheduling efficiency, analysing performance, and contributing to continuous improvement across the program.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise aircraft Maintenance Plans in line with the Base Maintenance Lifecycle Plan
- Support the annual fleet maintenance plan and contribute to planning forums and working groups
- Assist with the implementation of new fleet and production planning tools (e.g., OPP, Prime, IDMR, SAP, iFlight)
- Analyse performance data to identify improvement opportunities and present actionable recommendations
- Prepare and present reports for meetings, including LogEng, Base Maintenance, and Fleet Planning
You’re an analytical and detail-driven professional who thrives on improving systems, coordinating complex schedules, and supporting operational excellence. You enjoy problem-solving, working collaboratively, and contributing to the reliability and performance of a high-profile Defence aviation program.
- Qualifications or certificates in Scheduling or Project Management
- Experience in maintenance scheduling or project coordination in a technical environment
- Skilled in planning tools such as Open Plan and proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
