Mechanics-ATR

Benelux Tek Aerospace, a well-known multinational company in the aerospace industry with operations in the United States and Canada is looking for the following position in Ontario or the surrounding areas.

Position: Aircraft Mechanic or AME’s  

Location: Echo Bay, ON

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Perform aircraft maintenance / structures / avionics activities.

• Experience on ATR.

• Inspection of airframes, engines, operating equipment, components, parts, etc., in accordance with the work packages and task cards.

• Perform Maintenance Releases in accordance with companies MPM and customers requirements.

• Document discrepancies and raise NRC's in accordance with company policies & procedures and customer's manuals.

• Estimate the time required to complete NRCs and work with the production and trade supervisors to ensure that all trades' labour requirements are met.

• Identify part requirements and raise purchase requests.

• Work in close coordination with the production and trade supervisors.

• Supervise and provide technical guidance to the technicians. Coaching & training.

• Ensure that employees are following instructions and carrying out duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.

• Inform the Quality Assurance Manager of any MPM deficiencies or needed improvements.

• Ensure that all replacement parts are inspected and properly certified prior to installation

• Perform receiving inspection authorities functions.

• Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with the company's quality standards, policies, and procedures, as well as Regulatory Authority requirements (ITC, FAA, and etc.).

• Employees that are not compliant should be reported to the Quality Assurance Manager.

EDUCATION:

• Trade school-Aircraft Maintenance.
• Valid Ml and/or M2 License an asset. 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 

• At least 3-5 years experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Experience on ATRs

• Ensure the workplace is clean and safe at all times.
• Actively explore new ways to increase productivity while maintaining quality.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

RELOCATE:

• Able to work a flexible schedule to include day and night shifts.
• Willing to travel to a contract job site.

Benefits:
$45 - $50/hr depending on experience 

$50 per diem (Includes Hotel)
