The Supply Chain team is seeking a Category Management, Senior Manager - Level 6.



What You Will Be Doing
Develops a global sourcing strategy for commodities (categories.) Defines project scope and facilitates execution, identifying savings opportunities in order to provide differentiating value. Works with Business Area, Business Unit or Enterprise-wide, cross-functional teams to analyze supply base risks & opportunities, identify new sources of supply and meet business requirements. Negotiates and manages contracts and relationships with suppliers to drive innovative strategies that enhance performance. Implements policies and metrics to ensure that savings goals are realized and performance requirements are achieved. Acts as the main focal point for all matters pertaining to the given category. Responsible for quality and performance of supplier products. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

AeroSCM
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
-Supply Chain, Supply Chain Integration, or Operations experience
-Experience with subcontract cost, quality, schedule and/or technical program performance
-Experience with procurement systems (SAP, P2P)
Formal experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills:
-Demonstrated effective leadership skills to build organizational talent, and foster an environment focused on positive employee engagement and individual career development
-Experience with continuous improvement and ability to implement change and drive efficiency
-Experience Attracting, developing, and retaining talent, to improve the overall group performance
-Experience with executive engagement
-Background and knowledge of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 procurements
-Negotiations experience with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
-Background and knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
-Experience with delivery execution
-Advanced SAP knowledge/background and experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
