RTX Corporation, a leader in the aerospace and defense industry, is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Finance professional (M5) to lead the Javelin Execution Finance Team. This role will have three direct reports plus a growing team of analysts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program finance, earned value processes and team development. This managerial position includes leading and executing program controls, baseline development, Estimate at Complete (EACs), supporting Lifecycle Program Management milestones, and partnering with financial planning on AOP and LRP forecasting.
This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work can be done in Tucson, AZ. Relocation assistance is not being provided.
What You Will Do:
Contributing to the training and development of junior analysts
Coordinating finance deliverables across production and engineering contract types including CSRs, CSDRs and RLPM requirements
Monitoring and tracking program expenditures, highlighting issues / concerns / trends, and ensuring program financial commitments are met
Ensuring alignment with company and program processes and procedures
Support Ad Hoc financial analysis requests from internal and external customers.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field & 10 years prior relevant experience; or an Advanced degree and 7 years prior relevant experience
Experience building partnerships with program or functional leaders
Experience leading teams and/or projects
Experience with Program Controls and/or EVMS processes
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in APEX, Rplan, PRISM or similar tools
Ability to transfer knowledge via training and guidance to other team members
Experience balancing multiple priorities
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Financial Planning experience
Experience with managing cross-functionally
Experience working complex proposals
Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word and/or PowerPoint)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
