As a key member of the Management team, the Manager of Quality will report to the Director of Quality and is responsible for the leadership and operation of the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Aircraft Records and Maintenance Training programs.
 
Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following)
  •  Supervise the Delegated Inspectors, and RII Inspectors in the performance of their duties
  • Train and authorize the Delegated Inspectors and RII Inspectors for their duties
  • Monitor the Delegated Inspectors and RII Inspectors in their inspections and return to service functions
  • Assures the workmanship, materials and methods used to perform maintenance conforms to company standards and applicable FARs
  • Train and authorize the Receiving Inspectors for their duties
  • Monitor the Receiving Inspectors in the accomplishments of their duties
  • Monitor aircraft maintenance deferral activities to ensure they are completed within the appropriate limits Oversees the Approved Aircraft Inspection Program and Continuous Maintenance Program to ensure they are up to date with the manufactures program  
  • Perform internal and external audits
  • Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Will supervise Quality Control Specialist, Delegated Inspectors, RII Inspectors and Receiving Inspectors.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Job Requirements:
Education and/or Experience 
  • Five years related experience and/or training
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Must hold a current mechanic’s certificate with airframe and powerplant ratings
  • FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus
