Janitor for heavy industry plant - 3rd shift

Job Description
BAE Systems in York, PA is seeking a 3rd Shift Janitor (10:00pm to 6:30am). In this role you will perform general cleaning in shop areas, cafeterias, emergency and sanitary stations.

Receive instructions and work orders from Process Supervisor, Assistant Process Supervisor, Lead Person or Self-Directed Work Team
Clean assigned areas and sweeping into containers provided
Obtain cleaning materials from storeroom to clean and disinfect sinks, wash stands, drinking fountains, emergency eye wash stations and other sanitary facilities
Gather scrap wood, empty boxes, dirty rags, garbage, and debris to place into containers provided and place containers in pick-up area
Cleans and polishes floors, tables and chairs
Washes windows as required
Replenish towels, tissues, soaps and air freshner in restrooms as needed
Use personal computers or other data acquisition devices (i.e. bar-code) as required
Keeps work area safe and clean
Other duties as assigned

This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
