Network Support Coordinator - Part Time (2 days)
Reporting to the Line Maintenance Manager and working within a team of 6 liaison engineers, you will provide oversight of line maintenance contracts across the easyJet operational network. This role involves collaborating with a range of external maintenance providers and developing strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Some key responsibilities include reviewing invoices, raising purchase orders, and ensuring invoices are accurate and suppliers are paid on time. This coordination and support role covers a wide variety of processes, offering opportunities to develop key skills, particularly a good degree of financial acumen.
What you’ll be doing
You will need to be confident in learning new IT systems and processes, with a good support network within the team to help you find your way. Responsibilities include on-time payment of suppliers, preventing late payment charges, and managing supplier relationships. You will continuously review supplier invoices for accuracy and financial control, working with Liaison Engineers to address errors or unfair charges. Additionally, you will oversee the financial process end-to-end, assist in developing the department budget, coordination of hotel and travel requirements for the Line Maintenance team, support the aircraft damage cost recovery process, and administration of the engineering contracts database. You will also control departmental documentation, manage network instruction tracking and distribution, control network communications, provide reports for the Line Maintenance Manager, and support the development of dashboards and reports for standards assurance.
What you’ll need to do the role:
You will need to be confident in learning new IT systems and processes, with a good support network within the team to help you find your way. The ideal candidate will be competent in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and possess strong financial process and control skills. Clear and articulate written and verbal communication abilities are essential, along with being a solid team player who enjoys contributing to team success and goals. The candidate should be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels of the business and demonstrate good organisational abilities. Being tenacious, hardworking, and willing to travel are also key attributes for this role.
