Job Description:

Our FAA part 135 Pilots are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. You, as the employee, directly represent Haven Aero, LLC and play a key role in customer service and quality communication.

The pilot has direct responsibility and authority for the safe outcome of each flight. Pilots must be thoroughly knowledgeable of the General Operations Manual, Federal Aviation Administration Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other instructions pertinent to assigned duties.

  • Each pilot shall maintain current technical proficiency and education of aircraft and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicates effectively and accurately with clients, vendors, and other internal departments.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and reports any unsafe conditions through active participation in our safety reporting system.
  • Positively represents Haven Aero to customers, employees, and vendors through action, behavior, and communication.
  • You will need to be willing to relocate to or travel to Grosse Ile Michigan during your on-duty days.
  • Position is full-time, permanent 7 days on/ 7 days off with overtime pay for days worked beyond your scheduled days, or a 14 on 14 off schedule.

  • Ensuring reliable availability during your scheduled workdays.

LOCATION:

  • Preference is for this position to live in or relocate to Grosse Ile Michigan.
  • Potentially could be remote work position with travel to Grosse Ile for scheduled workdays.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Current 2nd class medical
  • Current FAA Commercial Multi Engine Certificate and Instrument rating.
  • 1500+ hours multi engine time
  • 1000+ hours turbine engine time
  • 150+ hours in King Air 300 (some consideration for King Air 90 or 200 time as well)
  • BE300 type rating
  • Strong aviation aptitude – Ability to quickly comprehend and effectively react to complex aviation related challenges.
  • Preferred – previous part 135 experience.
  • Preferred – current factory school on King Air 300.
  • Preferred – Garmin G1000 experience.
  • Preferred – current ATP.
