G.A. A&P Mechanic - Denton up to 45 hr

US Aviation Academy is hiring licensed Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics for our Denton, Texas location.  This position offers a variety of flexible schedule options, such as 4-day/10-hour shifts, 5-day/8-hour shifts, all-daytime shifts, and night shift premiums.

Our mechanics maintain a large fleet of fixed-wing aircraft, including Cessna 152/172s, Piper Senecas, and Seminoles. This position works as a team member, performing inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on piston flight training aircraft.

• A&P Certificate
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Eligible for employment in the U.S.
• Be able to read, write, and understand the English language
• Be able to lift/carry up to 25 lbs, push-pull, walking, sitting, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, crouching, and reaching
• Basic computer use abilities

• 2 or more years of Piston Aircraft experience
• FAA Inspection Authorization
