The Opportunity
We are currently seeking talented individuals for a PLM Product Support Analyst position in BDA Central Engineering PLM Product Support team.
Boeing Defense Australia is enabling a next-generation Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool in alignment with its Central Engineering strategy. The PLM Product Support Analyst will play a pivotal role in this transformation, collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the company to enable the role out of 3DExperience (3DX) across the business and also ongoing uplift of 3DX and Team Center Unified (TCU).
As a PLM Product Support Analyst at Boeing Australia, you will be instrumental in engaging with the business, working closely with key stakeholders to understand and identify PLM tool uplift requirements. You will apply your technical and functional expertise to assist with developing required PLM solutions that deliver tool uplift, with a focus on enhancing customer experience and deliver efficient processes.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with gathering and documenting requirements for PLM solutions
- Help investigate and design PLM improvements/solutions, to improve data quality and PLM tool efficiency.
- Support data migration, configuration changes, and basic system testing
- Provide basic user support for PLM tools (3DX and TCU), including troubleshooting and issue tracking.
- Assist with Digital thread investigations
- Support small project activities (scheduling, tracking, reporting) as needed.
Ideally you would have:
- Degree or diploma in computer science, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a technical role
- PLM tool knowledge, preferably with 3DX or TCU
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with engineering processes
Desirable (non-mandatory) experience will include:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Exposure to Defence, Aviation, or large organisations.
- Current or previous Australian Defense Security clearance
