What You’ll Do:
Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.Source, procurement and contract management of all indirect goods and services across company global enterprise and is critical to enabling company operations.Indirect categories of spend include: Information Technology (e.g. Software, Infrastructure), Factory Production Support (e.g. Capital Equipment, Tooling, Automation, Consumables), Construction and Facilities Services, Logistics & Freight, Employee Services, Financial Services, and Labor/Training Services. Develop source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies that integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategiesAssess suppliers’ company health, performance and capability to deliver products and servicesNegotiate pricing and contract terms and conditionsEvaluate supplier proposals for cost, lead time, quality and riskPrepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreementsConduct risk, issues and opportunities managementAnalyze external market and internal demandMonitor and manage supplier performance by:Identifying root cause and recovery plansManaging supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performanceInitiating supplier improvement activities and integrating results into contracting strategiesDevelop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexityContribute to the development of new job practices, techniques, and standards
What You’ll Need:
3 or more years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement or strategic sourcing practices and processes3 or more years of experience managing the procurement process including coordinating with business partners and providing functional support3 or more years of experience leading some negotiations with standard terms and conditions (including payment terms)1 or more years of experience modifying contract terms with legal assistanceExperience managing supplier relationships, strategic partnerships and supplier performanceExperience working in cross-functional teamsExperience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business or other related studies.Communication skills (written and verbal) with customer focusExperience implementing process and/or strategy improvementsAbility to identify and integrate opportunities to leverage/improve in contracting strategiesAbility to be self-directed in work and/or prior experience in a self-directed roleStrong business acumen and adept problem solving abilityStrong leadership skills and ability to build positive working relationshipsDemonstrated ability to work in matrix organizations with people at all levels

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree combined with 6 + years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
