Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job DescriptionThis role focuses on inspecting, servicing, and repairing corporate aircraft avionics systems within a Part 145 Repair Station environment. You will perform troubleshooting and maintenance on a variety of business jets, working in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals and repair station procedures to ensure safe, reliable, and high-quality aircraft operations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, and repair avionics systems on corporate aircraft, including Hawker 800/900/1000, Challenger 300/350, and Citation 500/600 series.
- Perform overhaul, repair, alterations, assembly, servicing, and both routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft, components, and related parts.
- Troubleshoot avionics issues on corporate aircraft with a primary focus on fault isolation and corrective action rather than installation work.
- Work on aircraft components and related parts in accordance with applicable work forms, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and Part 145 Repair Station manuals.
- Document all work performed accurately on applicable work forms and records, and sign off completed tasks as required.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements, repair station procedures, and safety standards.
- Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to perform assigned maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
- Support first-class maintenance services by maintaining high standards of workmanship, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and aircraft availability.
- Demonstrate strong customer relations by supporting a professional, service-oriented environment for corporate aviation clients.
Essential Skills- Proven experience as an avionics technician working on corporate aircraft, specifically Hawker aircraft and Citation aircraft.
- Experience in a business jet maintenance environment, with at least three (3) years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting avionics systems on aircraft such as Cessna 500 Series, Cessna 600 Series, HS125 Series, Bombardier 300 Series, Bombardier 604 aircraft, Gulfstream III, IV, V, and Dassault Falcon aircraft.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments necessary to perform aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting assignments.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English, including technical manuals and maintenance documentation.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of responsibility for the quality and accuracy of work performed.
- Outstanding customer relations abilities, with a professional and service-focused approach to working with corporate aviation clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Prior corporate aircraft maintenance experience in a Part 145 Repair Station or corporate service center environment.
- Specific experience with Hawker 800/900/1000, Challenger 300/350, and Citation 500/600 series aircraft.
- Familiarity with airframe and avionics systems on corporate aircraft, including Cessna, Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Dassault Falcon models.
- Comfort working with manufacturer maintenance manuals, work forms, and repair station procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex avionics issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with maintenance teams and provide clear updates on work status and findings.

Work Environment
The role is based in a FAR Part 145 Repair Station and corporate service center environment dedicated to business jet maintenance. You will work in a hangar and shop setting with access to professional-grade hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments required for avionics troubleshooting and repair. The work involves hands-on maintenance on corporate aircraft such as Cessna, Hawker, Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Dassault Falcon models. You can expect a structured, procedure-driven environment guided by manufacturer maintenance manuals and repair station manuals, with a strong emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality workmanship.

This is a Contract position based out of Cleburne, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
