Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, circuit testers, and related avionics test equipment.
- Knowledge of software updates, programming, and system configuration for avionics equipment.
- Ability to fabricate, route, and terminate complex wiring harnesses.
- Experience with Garmin G1000 systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of aviation standards, FAA regulations, and safety protocols.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Skilled in precision tasks such as soldering and component-level work.
Minimum of 10 years of avionics installation, troubleshooting, repair, and wire-harness fabrication experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be fluent in reading and writing English.
- Must be willing to work overtime, any shift, and weekends as needed.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment background, drug, and medical screenings in accordance with FAA requirements, including random testing.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have own tools that are shadowed and etched.
Shift / Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime expected at approximately 5+ hours per week depending on project demand (not guaranteed).
Assignment Duration:
6–8 months or longer, depending on program needs.
