Electronics Test & Debug Technician – Direct Hire
Location: Mount Pleasant, WI
Pay: $24–$28/hr starting pay (shift premiums apply)
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available
Requires hands-on PCBA troubleshooting and ability to read schematics. Not entry-level.
About the Role
Join a leading smart-manufacturing organization supporting advanced production of computer, networking, and automation systems. We are seeking experienced Electronics Test Technicians who can troubleshoot PCBA-level test failures using diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
Primary Responsibilities
Troubleshoot production PCBA test failures and isolate root cause
Perform diagnostics using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other bench equipment
Maintain and repair test fixtures, cables, and test station hardware
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and test logs
Execute test procedures and update SOP documentation as needed
Support test station setup for new product introductions and pilot builds
Adhere to ESD controls, IPC standards, and continuous improvement practices
Required Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on electronics testing, troubleshooting, or repair
Skilled with diagnostic tools: oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies
Ability to read schematics and interpret PCBA test documentation
Familiarity with computer hardware: CPUs, NICs, memory modules
Understanding of ESD-safe handling and basic soldering for rework
Technical certificate in Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience strongly preferred
Experience with Linux/UNIX or networking equipment a plus
This role is not suitable for warehouse, production, or general assembly backgrounds without electronics troubleshooting experience.
Shifts & Compensation
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM ($24–$27/hr DOE)
2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (+10 premium)
3rd Shift: 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM (+10 premium)
