CloudAhoy, Inc.

CloudAhoy, Inc. was registered as a corporation in 2010, and version 1.0 of the app was released to the app store in the spring of 2011. The iPad came out and changed aviation forever, and in the summer of 2012 we released CloudAhoy 2.0, with in-app debrief. The user-base grew organically, by word of mouth, and the capabilities of the software have been rapidly expanded. Valuable feedback and requests from users have greatly shaped the development. While CloudAhoy was initially taught to analyze and help debrief maneuvers of fixed-wing flights including instrument approaches, helicopters pilots and gliders started to use it as well, and it was expanded to analyze rotorcraft and glider flights. This tight relationship with the users is fundamental to our approach, and we feel blessed to have it.

We are rapidly expanding CloudAhoy. Version 3.0 with important new social features was released in the summer of 2013, and many more goodies are planned for 2014. We get daily feedback and suggestions from enthusiastic users which we value tremendously. And we are in the best position any software developer can be in: we are users of our own product.

CloudAhoy, Inc. is self-funded, and is privately held.
