Job Description:

SUMMARY:

Perform aircraft electrical engineering design, analysis, substantiation, certification, drawing interpretation and collaborate with project management team.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and analyze electrical systems and components, in support of transport category aircraft interior modifications and avionics upgrades (FAA/EASA STC projects).
Prepare electrical engineering drawings and reports including wire harness installation, fabrication, wire routing and electrical system schematics.
Develop cabin electrical modification/installation work instructions and procedures.
Participate in customer design reviews and presentations.
Coordinate and monitor electrical aspects of project schedule with Project Managers. Troubleshoot aircraft electrical issues during installation.
Travel both nationally and internationally (5-10%)
All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Aerospace or Mechanical preferred) or experience and training in their respective area of expertise to be determined equivalent.
Knowledge of aircraft electrical systems and wiring diagrams a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, preferably those created by Boeing, Airbus and other aircraft manufacturers.
Ability and experience to create engineering details, assemblies, and installation drawings using AutoCAD or similar software programs.
