Raytheon is seeking a Procurement Principal Specialist that will report directly to the Acquisitions Senior Manager, supporting multiple programs within the Advanced Product Solutions (APS) Raytheon business unit. This individual will manage medium to high complexity subcontracts (domestic) and represent the Supply Chain organization at various levels on functional and cross functional teams to drive business success. This role will also be the focal point for communication between internal and supplier cross-functional organizations for all procurement activities.
What You Will Do
- Negotiate and administer multiple subcontract types, to include but not limited to, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, Time and Materials, as well as development/R&D efforts.
- Evaluate, identify, and select suppliers that meet Raytheon requirements. Develop business partner relationship with suppliers.
- Generate and negotiate Long Term Price Agreements and other related agreements.
- Work closely with Program Office representatives and Engineering to define and implement procurement strategies and develop subcontract Statements of Work.
- Monitor subcontractor performance metrics and recommend/implement corrective actions as necessary. Prepare subcontract documentation in accordance with established company, customer and government FAR and DFAR regulations.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
- DoD industry experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in a procurement, contract management, and/or supply chain role
- Experience working within SAP software application.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience FAR and DFAR regulations
- Experience creating and presenting presentations
- Experience leading executive and program level supplier reviews

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
