Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance

Responsibilities:
- Manage all activities associated with the General Procurement Buyer function.
- Analyze Oracle system demand signals and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) needs.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quote (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Perform cost analysis, price analysis, and proposal fact-finding.
- Lead supplier negotiations, including pricing, terms and conditions, and overall subcontract strategy.
- Prepare, place, and administer purchase orders and subcontracts to ensure supplier compliance and on-time delivery.
- Monitor subcontract and purchase order performance to support program schedules, cost objectives, and operational requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal functional teams, including program offices.
- Resolve supplier-related issues involving quality, design, delivery, and payment.
- Coordinate and support source selection activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable procurement laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Lead purchase order kickoff meetings and participate in supplier program reviews.
- Review planning data to ensure purchase orders are released within supplier lead times.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
- Experience with cost and price analysis, supplier negotiations, and procurement documentation/write-ups.
- Working knowledge of procurement processes, subcontract/purchase order administration, and MRP.
- Proficiency with Oracle and related business systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced procurement environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and standard internet-based business applications preferred.
- Occasional domestic travel and possible international travel.
