Job Title: Aviation TechnicianJob Description
As an Aircraft Engine Mechanic , you will conduct post-lease inspections, including visual assessments and inventory of engine parts, as well as install parts to upgrade engines. You will be responsible for borescope inspections, taking detailed measurements, and performing engine disassembly and assembly. Your role will also include maintenance, inspections, repair, and service of engines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct post-lease inspections, including visual inspection and inventory of engine parts.
- Install parts to upgrade engines.
- Perform borescope inspections and take detailed measurements.
- Disassemble and assemble gear turbo fan engines and sub-assemblies.
- Conduct maintenance, inspections, repairs, and services.
- Possess knowledge of gas turbine engine hardware and associated procedures.
- Interpret technical drawings and work from maintenance manuals and operation procedures.
- Use measuring instruments to check dimensions.
- Communicate effectively with managers, field representatives, and airline mechanics.
- Complete, update, and maintain records for all maintenance performed in compliance with FAA regulations.
- Resolve customer in-service issues and understand customer maintenance preferences.
- Develop internal service center procedures to meet FAA and regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills2+ years of experience with GTF engines, preferred experience with V2500 and PW4000 or commercial engines.
- High school diploma or associate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Powerplant license required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses, operator permits, or certifications.
- Familiarity with PLI (Post Lease Inspections) and borescope equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A&P license required.
- Experience with PW4000, V2500, and Gear Turbo Fan Engines.
- Commercial engine maintenance experience.

Work Environment
Work in an Engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility with flexible shifts from Monday to Friday. Employees can start between 6 am and 7 am to complete an 8-hour shift. The environment encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
