Position Summary:
Ensure that all work inspected is in accordance with current FAA approved technical data. Adheres to quality inspection standards in accordance with the companys Repair Station Manual/Quality Control Manual (RSM/QCM).
Qualifications:
- Must have an Airframe & Power Plant (A & P) License.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience utilizing A & P License.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a urinary pre-employment test for drugs as per the DOT regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accept or reject work accomplished for all items generated on the inspection forms.
- Responsible for the surveillance of all work in progress.
- Assure that all work inspected is in accordance with current FAA approved technical data.
- Assure that all routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off.
- Verify calibrated tooling used is current.
- Assist the Director of Maintenance, Maintenance Manager, and Chief Inspector to ensure health and safety practices are followed.
- This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to submit to pre-employment and periodic DOT regulations for drug and alcohol testing.
- Responsible for the release to service for work performed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Lead Inspector.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to wear and breathe through a full-face respirator.
- May be exposed to hazardous chemicals that require the use of safety equipment.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time, and climb ladders, stands, and operate man-lifts.
- Must be comfortable with heights and confined spaces.
- Normal or Corrected Hearing.
- Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected.
- Must be able to access all areas of the aircrafts.
