Our client, a leading regional airline wholly owned by a major global carrier, is seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join their maintenance team. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring every aircraft is safe, reliable, and ready to fly. From routine pre-flight inspections to complex overhauls, your expertise keeps the fleet grounded in safety and airborne on schedule.
Perform Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight checks, routine servicing, and major repairs on various aircraft systems (engines, hydraulics, avionics, structures).
Troubleshoot & Repair: Quickly identify mechanical issues—whether a hydraulic leak or an avionics glitch—and implement corrective actions to minimize aircraft downtime.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company maintenance standards, documenting all work accurately.
Collaborate with the Team: Work alongside peers, inspectors, and maintenance controllers to maintain a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Maintain Records: Meticulously log maintenance activities, parts usage, and safety checks to support future troubleshooting and regulatory audits.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification: You’ve earned it—and you know how to use it.
High School Diploma or Equivalent: The basics matter.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License: Transportation to the hangar should be hassle-free.
U.S. Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
U.S. Passport (or Ability to Obtain Within 90 Days): Travel privileges kick in after a quick turnaround.
Strong Communication Skills: You can speak, read, and write English well enough to follow technical manuals—and share a good mechanic’s joke in the break room.
