This position reports directly to the Floor Supervisor and Director of Maintenance 

• Service, repair, and modify aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty. 
• Maintain and repair aircraft, engines, propellers, and components including, but not limited to, flight controls, engines, fuel systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical components. 
• Utilize technical knowledge of airframe and powerplant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and apply the required expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. 
• Employ technical knowledge to solve moderate problems by interpreting technical documentation such as manufacturers' manuals, blueprints, ICAs, MELs, and FAA regulations to return the aircraft to an airworthy condition. 
• Exercise good judgement in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety practices. 
• Follow company and standard safety procedures and processes.
• Comply with FAA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace.

• FAA mechanic certificate with airframe and power plant ratings. 
• Two years' experience in aircraft maintenance. 
• DHC-6 Twin Otter experience preferred.
• PT6A experience preferred. 
• Ability to use variety of hand tools and shop equipment for maintenance and/or manufacturing. 
• Ability to identify, remove, and install common aircraft components.
• Recommended to have common hand tools for maintenance.
• Tow aircraft, refuel, defuel, pre and post flight inspections of aircraft. 
• Maintain knowledge of, and comply with, FAA regulations, company procedures, troubleshoot and repair open aircraft discrepancies, as directed by a supervisor. 
• Ensure all work order and logbook entries are posted and correct before returning an aircraft to service.
• Successfully complete all initial and recurrent training for job level and airframe. 
• Capable to routinely lift 75 pounds, climb, bend, kneel, and crawl in confined spaces. 
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and hold a valid driver's license. 
• U.S. passport and be willing/able to travel CONUS and OCONUS for extended periods of time. 
• Willing and able to obtain U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
