The Hydraulics Technician is responsible for the heavy maintenance and refurbishment of heavy-lift commercial operations helicopters (S64). This role involves utilizing blueprints to perform hydraulics actuator repair through disassembling, repairing, fabricating parts, manual and CNC tube bending, and rebuilding actuators and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance and build-up/refurbishment of S64 helicopters.
• Disassemble, repair, and fabricate parts for hydraulic actuators.
• Perform manual and CNC tube bending.
• Rebuild actuators and related systems using blueprints.
• Work on hard tubes and pipes in the shop and install hoses on aircraft.
• Utilize extensive inventory and fabrication skills for full rebuilds of S-64s.

• 2+ years of experience in hydraulics repair.
• Proficiency in tube bending.
• Experience in aviation, particularly with helicopters.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints.
• Experience with aircraft sheet metal and installation.

• 4+ years of experience in hydraulics system repair.
• Proficient in using maintenance manuals.
• Skilled in systematic disassembly and reassembly of actuators.

Work Environment

Work within aircraft hangar and shop areas located in Central Point, OR. The headquarters include various departments such as engineering, administration, machining, and quality. Benefit from an advanced electronic tool crib with access to all types of tools. Initial shift is Monday to Thursday from 6 AM to 4 PM and Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. After 3 months, there is a possibility of moving to a 3 PM - 2 AM shift (4x10s).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $52.00/hr.
